The process involves identifying investment requirements, locating an appropriate property, securing suitable non-recourse finance against the properties, advising upon the appropriate structure to minimise UK tax liabilities and assisting in achieving capital growth through rent reviews and active management.

UK tax compliance

We deal with compliance requirements of UK tax authorities on a timely basis for clients, especially those based overseas. The best structure to minimise UK tax liability may involve an offshore company and/or trust. We are able to assist in structuring these and in providing the infrastructure for their operation.

We assist clients in registration for Value Added Tax, where appropriate, and obtaining Inland Revenue approval for a non-resident landlord to receive UK rental income with no tax deducted at source.
