FSA Regulatory & Compliance Consulting
For new businesses we will manage the process of applying for the relevant authorisation by the FSA. This will include filling out the necessary forms, provision of the required compliance materials and the creation and management of the compliance function (including anti-money laundering materials and training) as well as preparation of the detailed financial model. We'll then project manage the application through the FSA to get you up and running as quickly as possible. Once authorised there are several strands to the creation of a compliance function that need to be drawn together to ensure adequate continuing performance. These encompass the culture of the firm, the active involvement of the senior managers, comprehensive compliance documentation and a sensible and relevant monitoring and reporting programme. We will work with you to establish the optimal compliance framework, whilst ensuring you are aware of your responsibilities under the FSA Rules. We will provide practical and hands-on assistance to ensure that the internal compliance function runs smoothly, efficiently and effectively. This will continue both through the application process and after authorisation, for as long as is considered necessary. We will essentially act as your outsourced compliance department, attending your office at regular intervals to complete the monitoring programme and reporting back our observations, as well as making the required filings with FSA. We will also provide compliance and anti-money laundering training and will ensure you are kept up to date with rule changes and developing regulatory issues.
We'll ensure you are kept compliant so you can concentrate on managing the money in peace.
